Lake Huron Weather

Rain will continue building northeast across southeastern South Dakota, southwestern Minnesota, northwestern Iowa, and northeastern Nebraska Wednesday evening. Rain will get heavier after Midnight, and persist through mid to late morning on Thursday. The period of heaviest rainfall is expected to be roughly from 4 AM to 8 AM. Severe storms are not anticipated, with scattered thunder and lightning mainly occurring in northwestern Iowa. The greater concern will be the possibility of flooding in northwestern Iowa, and perhaps nearby adjoining sections of Nebraska, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Please don’t drive through water covered roadways or around barricades!
