Very warm temperatures in the 90s to around 105 out west will combine with low level moisture to result in dangerous heat today. Expect heat indices of around 105-109 across the region with portions of the Coastal Plains and the Coastal Bend with heat indices in excess of 110 are expected for a few hours this afternoon. Remember to stay cool and hydrated.
