Scattered rain and snow showers hang on into Saturday as a cold front swings through, reinforcing the cold air over the region. Things try to clear out Saturday night with high pressure slipping by to our southwest, with temperatures falling to or below freezing for areas away from the immediate coastlines. A few clouds possible Sunday as a weak system swings by to our north, but high pressure still appears to hold on into Sunday night, with another cold night on tap. The next best chance for rain holds off till Monday or Tuesday of next week.
