High pressure will bring dry and very warm weather to the area today. The pattern will change tonight, however, as a strong cold front moves through the region. Widespread clouds, showers, and storms will accompany the front on its way through tonight and Friday. Much cooler air behind the front will lead to below normal temperatures over the weekend and into the first of next week. More rain possible for Sunday.
